Getting into town, i was surprised by the hippy and German vibe. Plus simple homes start at $500k. I asked a Portuguese young woman about it. She told me that these expats who live there have money and can afford to be hippies. Whereas the average Portuguese can barely afford to live. 

This is the opposite of people who tell me that the hippies are the homeless on the streets. 

I got to my hotel room. They had no Wifi. I ended up using the remaining 3GB of the 5GB on my phone that night. I didnt even stream a movie

 The following day I got on the bus to Lagos to get more data for my phone.
