Deep Sand!

The most challenging aspect has been the deep sand. Someone remarked that its like spending twice the effort to get the same distance. 

The second most challenging aspect of this trip is all the blisters I have gotten by making an ill advise decision to switch my hiking shoes to Keen sandals. I thought the Keens would be better for letting sand and water more easily drain out. What I hadnt figured on that the same size Keens no longer fit my right foot for some reason.
